It worked fantastically for the clay without any powdery substance to keep the clay from sticking. We used powdered sugar to keep the fondant from sticking. In both instances we ended up using a layer of parchment paper in order to push the medium down into the mold. Without the parchment paper, the clay and fondant stuck to our hands and we ended up getting double and triple mold imprints. That's nothing against this mold, I think it's just a silicone mold issue in general and this is the first time we've used silicone molds.
