I can cut my grass longer and I don't have to switch to another trimmer before I finish. Hope this thing last as long as the original battery which I have had for close to 3 yrs.______________________________________________________________________________________Since the first battery worked so well I'm thinking about buying another one for backup. However the indicator seem to have quit working, now when pressed to see how much charge it holds the red lites no longer comes on. I hope this is not a forewarning of future damage on the battery. It is still functioning as expected. let's just hope it continues to function well. I'll hold off on the new purchase until spring when grass is growing again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Topbatt 40V Battery Works well in 36V Application *by C***R on Reviewed in the United States on March 9, 2020* I have an older model (2013) Black and Decker leaf blower which was purchased originally with a 36V battery, with about 1.5Amp-hour capacity. Black and Decker's website says that a 40V battery is compatible with older 36V units. I purchased the Topbatt 40V replacement and have used it for two charge cycles so far. I can confirm that it is indeed compatible with my 36V leaf blower, and gives about 20 minutes of run time at full speed, which is about 50% longer than the original battery supplied by B&D. Moreover, the battery seems to fit well physically into the B&D blower and attaches/detaches even easier than the original battery. It also is charged properly by the original 36V battery charger.
