arena Classic Silicone Swim Cap

I’ve been a Speedo fan for swimming wear for several decades, but Arena silicone swim caps are unbeatable. The classic soft model fits well, lasts long and stays comfortably in place. I've used it for lap swimming (probably 10 - 60 minute workouts). I like it as covers my ears well and makes swimming more comfortable. My hair does get damp but not enough to bother me (I think I like cap more for the ear "protection").

After years of wearing a Speedo Elastomeric Solid Silicone Swim Cap I search for a cap that was a bit looser on my head. I just tried 3 : TYR Adult Silicone Long Hair Swim... and the TYR Silicone Swim Cap for Men and Women – Wrinkle-Free, Durable & Tear Resistant, and the arena Classic Unisex Soft Silicone Swim Cap for Women and Men, Intensive Training Comfortable Non-Slip Long Hair Swimming Hat, The Arena is the winner hands down. It’s a bit thinner, but not too thin, it went on easy. It came off easy and it didn’t feel as tight as the speedo. The TYR one was too big and the other was not different from the speedo After years of discomfort, I think I found my cap.

Fixes lap-swimming snorkel slippage—just expect a few loose air pockets depending on head shape I hated the idea of wearing a swim cap, but as neck issues have made lap swimming harder over the years, I had to bring a front-mount swim snorkel into my routine. Adding this cap ended up being a total game-changer for the snorkel—it keeps the head strap from yanking on hair and stops the bracket from slipping around while turning laps. The cap itself is good quality material and holds up great as long as you rinse and dry it properly after getting out of the pool so the silicone doesn't degrade. My only complaint is the fit for my head shape isn't 100% flush. It leaves a little bagginess with air pockets around the top instead of a skin-tight seal, which isn't ideal. But for keeping a swim snorkel locked in place without constant adjustments, it does a great job. The main takeaway: Essential addition if you swim laps with a snorkel—eliminates strap slip and pulls, even if the head fit leaves a few minor air pockets.

Initially the product felt and performed as expected. But after 6 weeks of use, twice a week for 6 weeks, the caps split down the middle. This product material doesn't appear to be as thick as some other brands.

I finally got a chance to use this. LOVE it. Fits perfectly and my hair was mostly dry after swimming. Nice and thick. I'll buy this again.

The size of this swim cap is great as it fits well to my larger than average head. However, it is sometimes a little slippery and causing it not to cover my ears correctly.

Achei bem melhor que da Speedo, essa estica mais, é mais fácil para colocar e me parece um pouco maior, porque consigo cobrir as orelhas inteiras

El gorro se ve que es de buena calidad y queda ajustado y cómodo, no se te mueve cuando nadas rápido y haces movimientos bruscos. En mi caso, me gustaría que fuese algo más corto por la parte de la frente, de manera que pueda colocármelo por fuera de las orejas en lugar de por encima. Sí es cierto que cuando llevas un rato, aprieta por la zona de las orejas si lo llevas por encima, pero eso no hace que le quite alguna estrella en la valoración. Sin embargo, un punto a favor (al menos en mi caso) es que te sueja los auriculares de conducción ósea si los usas mientras nadas, al quedar el gorro por encima de las orejas (a mi me cubre la mitad de la oreja). A mi me gusta más los gorros de goma, porque tardan más en dar de sí, en comparación con los de tela, y quedan más ajustados. En general, recomiendo su compra.
