How much does it lift the heel compared with the rest of the foot?** A: The heel cushion is thicker than the rest of the insole. It is about twice as thick. I bought them for comfort on long walks or hikes but you could get the same effect with cheap ones by doubling the insoles or more heel support. **Q: Suitable for 200+ pound men?** A: Yes it will, I'm 200+ myself **Q: How can you clean these ? Are they washable?** A: I replace mine every few months. I also rotate my work boots daily so it's never the same pair twice in a row because I wear leather steel toe work boots. Recommend 2 or 3 pairs of work boots. Maybe expensive at first, but well worth the price in the long run.
