measurements are perfect. Material perfect. Has a nice weight to it and looks good among the flowers with the Buddha sitting atop.

This item is quite smaller than expected, but it's a nice addition to my little garden. I had to elevate it a little bit with a square cement brick. The packing material that the seller used (i.e., Styrofoam) made a helluva lot of mess while trying to take the item out of the box. So, I suggest buyers should open the box outdoors. I previously mentioned this issue when I purchased some other items from Design Toscano, but the seller still continues to use the same material for packing products. Styrofoam should be banned entirely for shipping all consumer goods. I am quite satisfied with the design and quality of this product. Delivery was faster than initially scheduled. But Amazon is rather tardy in updating the shipping news.

I got this to hold my new bird bath fountain, and it's perfect. Looks great, is very well made and frankly indistinguishable from marble. At nearly 20lbs, it's a substantial pedestal that adds a beautiful touch to a little corner of my deck. It also provides a little more height which makes the hummingbirds feel safer. This would also work well for a large potted plant.

Looks just like the picture. Hopefully it will hold the statue I have. The size is misleading because the top is much smaller than the bottom. Top is 12 1/2 x 12 1/2 inch, and the bottom is 16x16 inch. They only mention the bottom measurements.

Looking at descriptions and photos of the both the large and small English Rosette Plinth it was difficult to fully recognize the size and shape difference between the two. I bought both and the small is almost too small and certainly too small for the Grande 39" Venus statue, the base of the statue would hang too far over the edge and would not look good or correct. The grande Rosette Plinth 20" is substantially larger than the small Plinth 13" just visually when you look at it in person and the 20" Plinth is shaped slightly different, not completely vertical lines as the small Plinth has, hard to tell this by the photos. The Grande Plinth surprised me is a good way and it is large enough to correctly fit the Grande Venus statue and looks very nice. I will find a use for the small Plinth but it is small, maybe a small decorative flower pot would work or a small statue up to about 24" I am guessing. I like the Grande Plinth is large enough to be seen and have a presence to it and works nicely in the garden.

Very solid yet light enough to carry. I was very impressed with the quality. I have a very heavy clay pot on each and they are holding up.

It's hollow inside & a thin layer of cast covering the hole at the bottom. This looks very fragile, I expect it to break sooner or later.

We love it. Good quality for the price. Strongly recommended. Looks great.

Considering the small size it's very uneven, it looks a bit rushed

This pedestal (shown in this photo) was too small for the figurine I bought from the same company at the same time. This figurine I've had for almost 20 years. I mix and match pedestals and figurines. Moral: check the length and width before ordering.
