In 1951, film actress Lucille Ball and her musician husband Desi Arnaz spent $5,000 to produce a TV sitcom pilot about a Cuban-born bandleader named Ricky Ricardo, his zany, starstruck wife Lucy, and their madcap life in a Manhattan apartment. The result was the decade's biggest show and a landmark in TV history that ran until 1957. William Frawley and Vivian Vance co-star as the Ricardos' best friends and neighbors, Fred and Ethel Mertz. Great product
So enjoyable seeing I LOVE LUCY in color! Gives it a different dimension to viewing, more depth. Wish they would colorize ALL episodes!

An Ich To Scratch
Don't we all wish every last episode was in color, like me and my family? Don't get us wrong, we loved seeing the few handful of episodes that were colorized...but now I feel like Herbert the pervert from Family guy. NOW I WANT MOREEE! Lmao

Everybody Loves Lucy
Bought this for the sole reason that it has the holiday episode on it, which is not found on any streaming service. There is not a single episode on this DVD that I ever skip I Love Lucy is a timeless classic.

Loved seeing my favorite episodes in color

Spanish audio isn't so great
As a big Lucy fan, this set is super fun in color. However, I actually bought it to help with my learning Spanish. The subtitles work well, but the audio not so much. They speak in Spanish and then it will just switch to English and then back to Spanish. Also, the spoken word doesn't match the subtitles so it's just super confusing. I'm now listening in English and watching Spanish subtitles and that's working out much better. So overall, it's a fun set. But just don't buy it if you're expecting to listen in Spanish. That part is just not really so great.
