Seems great, time will tell.
Easy to install and fit my Pit Boss Austin XL perfectly. Welds at the top and bottom of the cup weren’t the greatest, but that’s not where it’ll rust out anyway. Even if it only lasts 4 years like the PB part did, it’s still a good deal. I easily went through about 500lbs of pellets in that time. The original PB igniter is still going strong.

Save your self time and get the pot and the hot rod
This worked great in my older traeger smoker. I got just the pot and not the hot rod also. When taking out the old pot I discovered the old hot rod was flared on the end and just would not slide out. Also we had some issues with our breaker tripping which I learned watching videos on replacing the pot and the rod was a sign the rod was bad anyway. Luckily our local hardware store happened to carry traeger accessories and had a hot rod on hand. I ended up taking more of my smoker apart than I planned but there is the videos online and there’s also nice detailed instructions that come with the pot. If I were to do this again I would buy both the pot and the rod. The pot fit great. Easy to take out and put back in. It seems like it’s heavier than the one it came with. Time will tell how long it lasts. My grill is on its 5th year and gets used all year round. I use it at least twice a week if not more in the summer and just about every week in the winter. We live in a cold climate so if temps are below zero and it’s snowing in winter I won’t because it’s outside. I keep it covered when not in use and vacuum the ashes out regularly. Some don’t clean their grills very often. Hopefully this pot will last as long as the original. Price was good and it seems heavy duty enough. We will see what it looks like after it’s used abit and I clean it all out the first time. Save yourself some time and hassle and just replace the hot rod at the same time.

Great product
Item is as described, its heavy duty and its true stainless steel because a magnet will not stick to it. Easy to install and was a 10 minute job at best.

Nice quality and fit!
Good quality and ok fit. Screws align and sizing is perfect. Only downfall I can find is the set screw for the igniter points downward instead of forward and rearward pointing. When installing fire pot this screw hits the bottom and pushes the fire pot up some. Once set with mounting screws everything seems fine but I'm sure it's causing a bit of excess stress to unit.

Works well in a 2013 Lil Tex
Product came packaged well. The screws included do not fit my 2013 Traeger Model: BBQ07C (Costco Specific Lil' Tex). Luckily the factory installed self tapping screws that held down my original fire pot were still serviceable. If in doubt order yourself some new screws, or hit the local hardware store and pick 4 up. The screw designed to secure the hot rod heating element fit well. The steel is comparable to the thickness of the factory fire pot and appeared to be assembled well enough to not warrant any concern. The bung for the hot rod is off-centered unlike the factory unit, but this did not impede installation, nor affect the function of either the fire pot, nor the heating element. The bung for the hot rod did have a slightly larger inner diameter which caused the hot rod to appear crooked once inserted and secured. This also doesn't appear to affect performance or function. The top flange is visibly smaller than the original fire pot, but covers the auger tunnel opening without issue. The holes in the new unit aligned perfectly with the existing holes. The install went quite smooth. I removed the 4 screws and removed the bottom panel under the hopper (be sure to unplug while performing this work. I cut the zip ties to help facilitate removal of the fire pot due to the hot rod cable needing to be extended to pull the original fire pot. After all of the fasteners were removed I rotated the original fire pot counter clock wise about 45 degrees to extract it. I loosened the hot rod retaining screw and slid the hot rod out. I then used 120 grit sand paper to clean up the hot rod just a little, nothing major just a little cleaning. I then inserted the hot rod into the new fire pot ensuring it only protruded past the inner tube by about 1/8-1/4 inch as recommended by Traeger and tightened down the retaining screw. I then installed the new fire pot in the reverse procedure as I had removed it and tightened down the 4 retaining screws. I then installed new zip ties under the hopper to keep the wires from rubbing on the blower fan, and reinstalled the bottom plate. after that I started the unit up as I normally would and let it run for 45 minutes on high similar to the initial break in burn. The new pot worked without any issues, and was easy to install. I will keep an eye on the pot and update this review if I run into any hitches. As of right now I would recommend this product to others who need to replace a worn out or corroded fire pot without breaking the bank.

This was an easy repair and made my grill work like new. My Pitt boss was not getting up to temperature and after a little bit of poking and proding I noticed the burn box was rusting out a bit. The larger openings caused by the rust were not focusing the fan blown air properly causing less than adequate burn and temperatures. Ten minutes to re and re the burn box and my unit works like new!

The item was delivered quickly and I must say that I'm very happy with the quality of the item. I was apprehensive because of multiple 1 star reviews stating that their pot is not made from stainless steel and it's magnetic low carbon steel. The first thing I did was put a strong earth magnet to it and I promise you the unit I got is 100% legit stainless steel. Installation was a breeze. As you can see in the photos my old fire pot was decimated. This was installed on a Pitboss 700 series smoker and everything fit perfectly... no modifications necessary. The screws provided fit perfectly. I don't know about Traeger but if you have a Pitboss this is a fantastic upgrade. Cheers.
