MG Straw Cowboy Hat

I was looking online for a cute cowboy hat to wear to the beach so it had to be flexible, cute and light weight. The hat got here really quickly !! Heres what I think:Pros:* Its super flexible. The side flaps tend to curl up but you can adjust the hat with such ease ! it molds and shapes perfectly.* There is a band in the inside of the hat that is tight, durable and comfortable. I usually have problems finding hats because the inside sometimes is a little uncomfortable to my forehead. My forehead sticks out a little I guess slightly making my head a little wider but the band on the inside sits comfortably against my forehead for all day comfort.* There are design cutouts throughout the hat that give a little breeze to your head through the hat, perfect for hot weather !* The hat looks and feels very light weight ! PERFECT CASUAL COWBOY HAT .* I love how the back part of the hat curves shaped to my head.. I dont like those hats that stick far out from the back, they take up more space and make the hat look kinda BIG and "too much".. the way that the hat shapes in the back makes the hat look more "chill"CONS: ** the front of the hat tends to curl up a little :/

Very comfortable and looks great. I like that the wire rim allows you to give it a nice pencil roll and keep the back low to protect your neck from the sun. The reason I give this 4 stars is that the straw is quite brittle. I tend to pick it up by the left ridge on the top of the hat which over the course of a couple weeks of wear has turned into a fairly large opening... I realize you need to be more gentle with straw than felt, but I use this while working and don't have time to gingerly pick it up by the rim every time which would bend the rim of the hat out of shape anyway.

This is a copy and paste of what I submitted to the Q&A section....I have two hats that both say they are size 7 1/2. One fits well, the other is tight.This straw cowboy hat fits me perfectly well!Whereas others have said it will fit hat sizes up to 7 1/4, I am confident to say it will fit hat sizes up to at least 7 1/2.Also: had the ex try it on - looked great on her. Her head is certainly smaller than mine, but she sad it felt good. Was not loose and just balanced on her head.I am very pleased with the purchase. Easy to reshape the brim profile, too.

Came in a bag but was easy to reshape. Outer brim has a metal wire running through it to facilitate crafting the shape. So you can have the sides rolled up tighter or more open if you want. Air goes through the top so my head stays cooler. Light weight. Fits perfect.Update: Second one came in a box and had no shape problems that had to be adjusted. But I was still able to customize it to the shape I wanted. Head opening is slightly larger than first but still fits well. Could be the first one has shrunk a little from use and being soaked in sweat.

For many years my husband has used a straw hat that his younger brother owned when he was alive. it was special to him, but he wore it out. I was thrilled to find this one, and even more happy that it is exactly like the one that my husbands brother used so many years ago. It works well to keep the sun off his face and because it is straw, it is not hot. Wish I had a picture, he is so cute in it.

Fits bigger than a typical women's hat but functional and light
