Spigen Rugged Armor Designed for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Case (2015) - Black

Received my Spigen case a couple days ago from Amazon but just now got a chance to review it. I was flip flopping between Spigen and Otterbox for mobile phone cases a couple years ago but settled on Spigen after using a Spigen case for my S4. I haven't been let down by Spigen yet and am happy to report that this case is of their top notch quality! The material is a tad bit slippery but I'm used to it and am sure it becomes a bit less slippery with a little more wear and tear as my other Galaxy S4 case was about the same. It also has enough of a padding that the camera lens and flashlight are nicely tucked inside the case to protect it. The case does a good job of protecting the edges as the bumpers are curved around the phone nicely and do cushion the phone sufficiently for a drop. The raised lip elevates your phone off of any surfaces it may land on. The phone fits into the case snugly. At the end of the day, I'd feel comfortable enough if my S6 Edge would ever experience a short distance drop with this case on. I'd still be weary about how protected my Galaxy S6 Edge would be from a long distance drop but this case is meant for light protection as opposed to the "Tough Armor" version of the S6 Edge Spigen cases. However, that "Tough Armor" case adds more bulk than I'd like and so I'm perfectly happy to have this case!

I like this product looks good, fits perfect. I read some of the one star reviews and people said it was loose. Mine is snug so they must have recieved the wrong product. Also people said one of the problems i was worried about with the edge is would i be able to protect the phone with a case, and you can! The phones themselves have improved and take some abuse. However it can only protect it more with a case. This case sticks out slightly further than the screen of the phone protecting it if it fell face down on a flat surface. I also like how it covers the buttons and doesn't use cutouts. The best part about it is it is still thin enough to work with the wireless Samsung charger. The only think i would change is maybe a textured back. This case is very smooth and soft, but on the larger phones you might want a case with slightly better grip for one handed operation. Spigen does make a case that is textured but it costs more money. For the 12 dollars this case costs you cant beat it. Recommended!

So far I have been enjoying this case. It looks great, and is very thin so it does not add nearly as much bulk as many of the other Galaxy s6 Edge cases. I have dropped the phone a couple of times, mainly just from bumbling to answer the phone and have found that it is well protected. Of course just like any case, if dropped on gravel or rocks I would imagine there could be the potential for more damage. The only flaw I have found with the case is minor. The left side of the case which covers the volume rockers doesn't seem to be snug over them. You can see the rockers a bit and I haven't had any luck getting it to completely stretch over them. It is possible that this is just a flaw of this case an ordering another one wouldn't yield the same result. The case goes on and comes off of the phone very easily which makes cleaning the phone very easy. Overall I am enjoying this case and would recommended it to friends and family. I'm not quite sure what I was expecting, but when I received & put this on the phone, I was quite surprised & pleased. The flexibility of this case is such to where it's extremely easy to install around the phone, but also just firm enough that once installed, the phone seems quite protected against accidental drops, etc.I also like the fact that it's molded around the phone so that it doesn't distract from the looks of the Galaxy 6 Edge in general. (Keep in mind that if you got the Edge to take advantage of the new features where it lights up on its edge, well you'll have to forget that feature since it does cover both sides. But I personally didn't get this phone for that feature anyway, so it's certainly not a loss to me. But you do need to be aware of this). I also like the fact that this phone (since it's so slender), becomes much easier to handle, in my opinion, with this protective case installed. So if covering up the edges doesn't bother you, I highly recommend this protective yet resilient case

My husband's phone really needed a new case but as it's 2 models old, no one carries it except online. This case came promptly and as described. It appears sturdy and durable, but we haven't tested it out, so that's why the 4 and not 5 stars. Hubby found it easy to install, said it felt good in his hands and looked very good too. In fact, it made the phone look so much better. I've paid a lot more for phone cases, so this is a real deal for a very nice case. I'd buy it again, but I don't think I'll have to. The phone will probably go before the case does.

So far I am pretty impressed with this case. It feels like a hard rubber case but has a good quality fit on the the S6 Edge. Do I think it will save the phone in a drop...yes. Do I think it would save it in a high drop? Not at all. But it is a very stylish case that protects the camera lense and has just enough of a raised lip on the front to make sure the face of the phone does not make contact with any surface you place it face down on.

Coque parfaite et discrette, la tenue en main est meilleur que sans la coque et elle s'adapte parfaitement au téléphone. Ne pose pas de souci avec la protection d'écran et les boutons sont flush. Mon s6 edge est tomber 2 fois depuis que je l'ai et bha ma fois il n'a subis aucun dommage (chute de 50 cm +-). Je recommande pour le prix et si le style vous plaie.

Tengo un Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge y des del primer momento que compre fundas para él intento comprar esta marca Spigen ya que me ha dado grandísimos buenos resultados, agarre y calidad. Funda echa de Termoplástico de poliuretano la qual cosa se nota en su agarre y protege de los possibles golpes que pueda causar en una caída. Sabemos que el modelo edge tiene el cristal curvado en sus bordes, pero esto no es problema en esta funda ya que se adapta a ellos permitiendo tener total control de los botones o funciones que tengáis en la función edge. En conclusión, recomiendo al 100% esta funda y la gran mayoría del fabricante Spigen ya que en todas me ha dado gran durabilidad y satisfacción.

La cover calza alla perfezione sullo smartphone e lo protegge grazie ai bordi spessi. Anche lo stile è bello e ben fatto con degli inserti "tipo fibra si carbonio" sul retro. I tasti sui lati consentono una perfetta pressione dei tasti fisici sullo smartphone e lo spazio intorno ai fori del caricabatterie e cuffie sono ben dimensionati e non occorre rimuovere la cover.

Lange habe ich nach solch einem Cover gesucht. Ich habe zwar schon ein schwarzes, bin aber damit unzufrieden. Zu dünn, zu unsicher. Jeden Fingerabdruck sieht man auf meinen anderen Hüllen sofort. Ich suchte nun nach einem stabilen Cover, und habe es endlich nach vielem Abwägen mit anderen Produkten hier gefunden. Es ist zwar nachgiebig, gibt mir pers. aber, im Vergleich zu diesen Skinnyteilen, ein gutes Sicherheitsgefühl für mein Telefon. Da ich viel desinfiziere, wollte ich auch eine Sicherheit um die Tasten, damit man diese auch abwischen kann. All das habe ich hier gefunden. Zumal die Laut- und Leise plus An- Austasten nicht nur einfach einen Rand haben, sondern RICHTIGE Tasten sind, mit denen die Tasten daunter bedient werden. (das sieht man auch in der Beschreibung des Covers) Es geht unfassbar leicht, ohne dass man im Coverplastik einfach blöd und doll herumdrückt. DAS habe ich noch bei keiner Hülle gehabt, obwohl ich einige durchhabe auch für ein anderes Telefon. Das Aussehen ist ja gut zu erkennen. Ich finde es wertig und hübsch. Genau solch ein Cover suchte ich: schwarz mit einer kleinen Auflockerung, aber halt überwiegend schwarz. Es liegt ausserdem super in der Hand und man sieht keine Fingerabdrücke! wie das auf glatten Covern sofort vorkommt. Einfach toll. Die Lieferzeit war top. Die Verpackung stabil und sicher. Passend in den Briefkasten. Wenn ihr also eine gute, sichere Hülle für euer Edge sucht, die stabil ist, aber nicht gross aufträgt, seid ihr hier richtig. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung für dieses Produkt.
