This coffee is great, low acidity
Love this coffee. Doesn’t upset my stomach like other coffees often do. It must have a low acidity factor. The taste is great.

Excellent Flavor!
I used to buy this at Whole Foods but they stopped stocking it. I'm delighted that amazon has this available online! When I serve this to friends, they actually ask what type of coffee it is because the taste is so exceptional (if you like darker blends of coffee). It's pricier than grocery store coffee beans, but worth it if you are a coffee lover!

Nice blend
Mocha and Java are types of beans and not chocolate flavors. Some are unaware. Nice flavor profile .

Nice Mocha flavor
No need to add anything if you desire a rich Mocha flavor. Not overwhelming either just a very nice flavor overall.

Great tasting coffee without the acid
I've tried many mocha java coffees, but most seem to have have a harsh almost bitter or burnt aftertaste Not this one -always consistently smooth and delicious. Surprisingly rich for a lower acid roast. Not a Starbucks strength - a lot mellower - so if you like those coffees, you probably won't like this one. Since the pandemic, they don't always have it at our local Whole Foods so I'm happy to find it on Amazon. But it's much fresher if you can buy it at Whole Foods. The use by dates on bags from Amazon are always short. Check bags carefully when they arrive - I ended up with Early Bird Blend this time, but unfortunately opened the bag without checking and can't return it.

If you’re gonna do a pour over or an acre or maybe a French press, this is a good coffee
I’m a big espresso drinker. I am a huge coffee geek and when it comes to espresso, I don’t think I’d recommend this one when it comes to. This is a pretty good quality coffee at a really good price.

It's good, but is it chocolate?
I'm a bit conflicted because the package says "Mocha Java: mixed berry / stonefruit / warming spice". I agree the coffee is very smooth with just the right touch of fruit and spice flavors. But I don't seem to detect any *mocha*. So it's a good coffee, but just be aware that the flavors you're getting do not match the name at the top. It's a good coffee but I wouldn't call it "mocha java".

Not the same taste
I have been buying Allegro Mocha Java for years from Whole Foods market, before they stopped selling it. I’m familiar with the flavor and the taste. I bought bags from this seller several times and they were good quality in the beginning, but the last few bags that I purchased recently looked different and the coffee beans had no taste, nothing like Mocha Java that I’m used to. What I noticed first, the bags had stickers for expiration date, instead of the original format when it was typed right on the bag, so basically, you can just stick any expiration date on the bag and the buyer will never know. Second, the bag felt flimsy and the twisting part that helps to seal the bag fell off as soon as I opened the bag. Nothing like that has ever happened on the original product. The biggest dissapointment was the taste of the coffee beans. I love mocha java for its smooth taste, low acidity, roasted bean chocolaty flavor , and I’ve tasted none of that from these beans. I really hope the seller is not tempering with the original product and not selling some bogus beans. I will have to find a different brand of coffee now, since I won’t be ordering from this seller anymore.
