Recently purchased this faucet for a kitchen renovation. Plumber indicated that the installation was straight forward and fairly simple. The faucet itself functions great with zero issues.

After changing out my faucets 4 times over a 10-year period, I decided to splurge a bit on a brass higher end product. I'm so happy I did because it's now been about 11 months since my refurbish and the sink and shower Grohe fixtures look just as new. This is despite the fact that we have seriously hard calcite water that would usually show signs of discoloration within 1 month! My master bath will be outfitted with all Grohe fixtures. Love them.

there is no aeration in this, so the water flow almost seems to be at pipe pressure, coming out in a fast laminar flow. this causes almost anything to splash. e.g. washing leafy greens or broccoli crowns is a mess of water spray. i just wish this had aeration. another negative is the alternate stream selector does not stay pressed for low flow; it only stays on the alternate flow selection for moderate to full flow speeds. bottom line is, i wish i bought a better faucet than this.

The only “pro” is that this is a good-looking faucet. The flow rate is low...almost not enough force to rinse off dishes. There is a lot of splattering, no matter where you put the item you are rinsing, high or low in the water stream. Splattered water got all over me and the counter tops. Neither my old faucet that this was supposed to replace nor the new faucet that I replaced this one with had this problem.

One of the major exposed parts of this faucet arrived damaged. There was a very noticeable "ding" that turned out to be a manufacturing defect, and never should have made it through "quality control" before it was packed for shipment. Because it was one of the last pieces to be taken out of the box and unwrapped, and wasn't discovered until most of the installation had already occured (not to mention the prior removal of the old unusable faucet) there was no choice but to complete the install and contact the warranty department for replacement of the single, damaged part. I sent detailed photos of the damaged part to Grohe, and they agreed that it was a manufacturing defect. Unfortunately, Grohe informed me that NO REPLACEMENT PART WAS AVAILABLE for the brand new faucet, and my only option was to buy a complete new unit, and then once the new one arrived, I would have to remove the original (still new) unit and send it back. Of course I would have to pay for the new faucet, box up, and return the old one, then wait for my credit to be issued. I find it hard to fathom that a large, international corporation like Grohe doesn't have replacement parts available for its products, but that's the situation I was in. It all worked out eventually, but having to pay twice in one week for the same faucet, then wait for the issuance of a credit shows very poor customer service on the part of Grohe. Rather than simply making me pay AGAIN for the replacement unit, they COULD have just put a hold my credit card for a short period of time while waiting for the defective unit to be shipped back, but they instead made me feel like I was trying to pull a "fast one." The faucet is now installed and working fine, but I'm still left with a bad taste in my mouth for being treated like I had done something wrong, or been trying to scam the company.
