OXO SteeL Angled Measuring Jigger

Long lasting because it's metal. The markings haven't come off in the dishwasher after about 2 years. These angled measuring tools from OXO are really convenient, highly recommend, especially if you're on the tall side. Really good OXO quality and the fact that its steel gives confidence that it'll last longer than the plastic ones and it's not as fragile as glass ones. Having this makes me feel like I'm showing off when making drinks because it feels professional and accurate.

This little jigger works so well, that I got rid of all my old ones. The measurements are much easier to read from above, and they are laser etched, so they don't wash off in the dishwasher. It also pours much better than the others, so you won't have the mess. This is a great design!

This is a great product. handy for measuring, I can read the values, and it is less mess than many other jiggers. OXO is a leader in bar gear, and every bar needs at least one of these.

I've used this measuring jigger consistently for about one year now and it is as good as new. I love that the markings are easy to read. They can be viewed from above and you don't need to get down to eye level to read the measurements. It provides both tablespoon and ounce markings to fit whatever recipe you're using. The spout also provides a clean pour. The stainless steel makes the cup look simple and streamlined. It is easy to wash. Because I only use it to measure water-soluble ingredients, I simply rinse it out by hand and give it a quick scrub with the yellow side of a sponge. I avoid using the green abrasive side and have not had any issues with the markings fading away. I also do not put it in the dishwasher, so cannot attest to what that experience is like. Washing it by hand takes me just a couple of seconds. I use this to mix cocktails and it makes the whole cocktail experience a breeze. Prior to purchasing this, I debated between this and other more traditional looking barware, like a double jigger. This product provides a much cleaner experience because I'm not flipping the measuring cup back and forth where liquids can drip onto your countertop. As a regular home cook who likes to occasionally entertain, this measuring cup fits my needs perfectly. It is easy to use, quick to wash, and does not make a sticky mess in my kitchen.

I bought one of these in February 2020 and have been using it on a regular basis for mixing drinks. The printing is easy to read, and having the markings on the inside is very convenient for measurements. I bought another one this month (June 2025) as a backup. Some reviewers mentioned the markings fading, but after 5 years of frequent use (5+ times per week), mine still looks pretty good. In the photo, the jigger on the left is brand new out of the package, and the jigger on the right is over 5 years old. There is a little fading, but not too bad. The trick is to hand-wash it whenever possible.

After extended use, this loses a star due to recurring surface rust on the inside surface of the measuring cup. To be clear, the design and execution are 5 stars, but the low corrosion resistance "stainless" steel used in it, is IMO inexcusable, especially in light of their other stainless bar ware that *does not rust* under the same use and cleaning conditions. Still relevant: This is an excellent, if non-traditional jigger/bar measure. It's extremely easy to read all the fill lines and has more divisions than most jiggers. Cleanup is very easy and the metal thickness ensures that it should last through many years of hard use. It ought to be a good substitute for measuring spoons as well.

The OXO steel, angled measuring jigger is the best. The measurements are easy to read, and this is the best way to do precision measuring. The OXO steel, double-jigger also is very good, but I like the OXO steel, angled measuring jigger best. It's super easy to use, and it's easy to read. Some cocktails have wiggle room for ingredient quantities, but there are cocktails like the Aviation that require precise measurements. Liquor.com has the best recipe for the Aviation cocktail. It also has the recipe for "Corpse Reviver No. 2", which is another cocktail from 100 years ago that is very tasty but not so strong as the Aviation. In contrast, a Margarita cocktail has a lot of wiggle room, and you can customize it to taste (more lime, tequila, orange liquor, or a bit less of specific ingredients), but this is not the case with Aviation and "Corpse Reviver No. 2", which must be exact. Also note that the amoretto cherry makes the Aviation cocktail perfect. When mixed precisely, the Aviation does not have a dominant liquor, so it's an exquisite blend (Beefeater gin, Luxardo Marachino Originale, Rothman & Winter Liqueur Creme de Violette, fresh tart lemon juice) and Lazzaroni Amaretto Italian Cocktail Cherries. on a stainless steel cocktail pick (1 or 2 cherries, not in the cocktail but horizontal on the rim). When precision quantities are required, this OXO steel, angled measuring jigger is perfect.

Great tool, I use it to measure quantities of different sauces when following a recipe. Only downside is that I have notices the markings starting to wear off already.

The pictures show it having 3/4 oz markings, but the one I recived didn't.
