Just arrived this morning! I know some reviews said they were a bit confused on how to use the mat and a bit disappointed in the cards in general. Honestly though, I do tarot on my spare time and have for years. I don’t find it the least bit of confusing at all. The mat appears to work with TWO people in some kind of dynamic/relationship of sorts. So you and your best friend, you and a love interest, you and your spouse, you and a family member ect. As for the cards they are very beautifully illustrated and feel sturdy. I also like the quick meanings written on each one. Not sure how that’s much different from an oracle deck. But I find this feature makes it a bit unique for a tarot deck. The instruction booklet is short and doesn’t offer much insight. Not uncommon for some tarot decks. I have a few like that. Beautifully and artfully crafted but lacking in the book area. So I’d recommend getting a tarot meaning book to help understand the basic meanings if that’s a problem for you.
