However, the spring inside is too weak. It did not spring back open after releasing my grip. I found myself having to pry the handles back open each time making this a two handed operation. I have others which have a large spring and I can squeeze and release multiple times to release the material you just scooped. I am using this to make chocolate truffles so the mixture is somewhat firm but my other scoops did not have this problem.
