The board measures nine by 38 inches (W x D), with saturated, scenic tropical art created by Rick Rietveld, Palisades logo on the tail and top, and custom die-cut grip tape. About Rick Rietveld A Southern California native, Rietveld began surfing in 1971, and has been heavily influenced by the surfing lifestyle. Many of his artistic creations are thematically related to the ocean or contain surfing-related imagery. His award-winning illustrations are widely acclaimed in the domestic and international surf industry. In 1998, he was commissioned to create and design the poster and T-shirt graphics for the prestigious Triple Crown of Surfing, and he also received a Certificate of Excellence from the Print’s Regional Design Annual for his popular T-shirt design, XXXtra Strength.
