We were looking for hinges that would hold the heavy top up and would not for the top to slam down. These were easy to install and do a great job. I slight tug downward will easy glide the hinges to close. We have not had them installed very long so I look forward to updating you more on the west of the "tension" on these hinges as the top is opened and closed and more wear and tear is placed on them. These seem to very high quality so I do not anticipate the tension to loosen in the future. The package came promptly and the hinges were well protected.
