AULA Ghost Shark PC Mouse, PC/Mac, 2 Ways

This mouse is fantastic, It arrived quickly in shipping looks great, so on so forth. Lets get to the tech. The mouse has several programmable buttons and lots of options to adjust to make the mouse very personal, huge plus The mouses DPI settings have a low-medium cap out with 3 possible storage settings for that DPI that can be switched on that fly. (A big plus for me but situational based on the person) The mouse is large enough for big hands and small enough to feel comfortable in smaller hands, What I mean by this in more detail is that the size of the mouse is good for "Claw" type gamers with large hands, and good for "Palm" type gamers with smaller hands. Although the 2600 or so DPI cap will be low for some gamers, for those who like the speed slower and the sensitivity higher this mouse can help you reach the sweet spot pretty easily with its customization. Now for the con: Its not really a con, however the mouse has some software which you should have a little tech background to setup. For the first and BIGGEST thing, I'll save people some trouble and say; when setting up the mouse, RENAME THE FILES. Your computer can't read the Chinese wording the files and therefore considers them invalid, just change it to; "mouse data" and everything will work just fine. For the next thing when you're done installing the software, you'll need to restart your computer post driver-installation inorder to adjust any settings, otherwise the mouse won't save any config settings. All in all for its price I give the mouse a 10/10 vs much more expensive mice, I still give it an 8/10 or so. Amazing pickup, get it. (side note: all the color options look amazing and will work with any computes aesthetic build)

The overall design of the mouse is great. It feels very good in your hand and the laser is very precise. Now what I didn't like about it is the weight and the lights. This mouse is noticeably heavier than all the previous mouses that I have owned, which makes it harder to pick up and move but you eventually get used to it. The main reason i gave this mouse a 3 star rating is for the software. It comes with a CD that has the driver for the lights and other settings in the box, but you need to change the name of certain files so that your computer can recognize them because they are originally in Chinese. Another option is to download the drivers in English from Overload Forums, which you have to make an account to get permission to download it. Once you finally get the driver installed, it doesn't even work! The only setting for the lights that does work is the one that cycles through all the colors, which I believe is the "demo" mode. I wanted to change it to solid blue to match my case, but that is not longer an option. Overall, it is a good mouse, but if you are crazy about the lights and being able to adjust setting on the mouse, there are much better mouses out there for this price.

This is an awesome mouse! Looks sharp and feels comfortable. I have bigger hands and this mouse fits my hand perfectly. Also has a smooth kind of suede feeling to it. Pros: Blue led's look awesome, the lights are also changeable to any color. Has a back, Forward, Scroll, and Double Click button which come in handy. There are grooves in the mouse for each one of your fingers to lay comfortably. Cons: I could not download the software from the disc it came with, so I had to download it from the website which is in a different language. So I had to randomly click on tabs hoping it was the download software one. Eventually I found it after 20 min or so and it downloaded very quickly. Still an awesome mouse that works and looks great, I would Recommend it.

This mouse is very cool, it is easy to use and the color changing feature is awesome. This mouse does, however, have its fair share of cons. While the manufacturer specifies that the mouse is intended for windows operating systems, I purchased the mouse for use with a macbook air, as I read that mice made for windows could be used on macs, but only basic features would work. The mouse comes from a Chinese company and the company's website, while hard to find, is all in Chinese (Mandarin I believe) and so are both the packaging and the instructions. The mouse comes with a disc to install the driver, but it's one of those small discs like the ones that came as prizes in cereal boxes in the '90s. Because of the size, I couldn't use the disc with my computer (I use an external USB disc drive because macbook airs do not have disc drives), and have no way to install the driver. (FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO AREN'T FAMILIAR WITH THE TERM DRIVER: driver software is the software you install on your computer for the mouse so that its additional functions work with your computer.) I assume that if I could use the driver disc then the mouse would work 100 percent properly, but without the software, some of the mouse features do not work. For example, the forward and back buttons do not work with my computer, but this is not a problem for me as I don't use them anyway. The mouse just cycles through each of the colors over and over again, like a fiber optic light. The button below the scroll wheel I believe is for putting the mouse to one solid color, but as I have not installed the driver software, the button just causes the mouse to blink red, blue, or green, and then go back to the regular color cycle. The button to the left of the left mouse button does a double-click, which is nice. The biggest problem I have with this mouse is the scroll wheel. Since the driver software is not installed, the scroll wheel is inverted. That is to say that when you scroll, the screen moves the opposite way of the way that you want it to go. I was able to fix this by changing my computer's settings, but I wanted to be able to switch between the trackpad on my computer and this mouse regularly, which is impractical because the settings can't be set to accommodate both. Every time I switch, I have to change the settings, or just deal with one of them being different. It is wider and longer than most other mice, which I like because I have big hands, but it is not very tall, so it can be hard on your wrists and joints if you have larger than average hands. If you can get around the problems I have described or you have a desktop, you should buy this mouse, it is well worth the money. With all of that being said, I think this mouse is great for anyone who has a desktop. It works really well for pointing and clicking, and the color change feature makes it a great mouse, especially for the price.

This ghost shark gaming mouse worked as I wanted it to. And with the ability to customise the buttons gave you the power to game the way you like. The LEDs worked and cycled through the colours perfectly. I can't say anything wrong with this product

Possiedo questo mouse da ormai 4 anni. Ne ho comprato un altro per la mia ragazza ( il mio è ancora perfettamente funzionante! ) Caratteristiche del mouse: - cambio rapido DPI ( con il pulsante vicino alla rotellina ) - tasti back e forward posizionati sul lato sx - tasto fire ( double click ) a fianco del tasto sinistro del mouse ( utilissimo in giochi FPS ) - materiali di ottima fattura ( ve l'ho gia detto che che l'ho da 4 anni, uso il pc mediamente 6/8 ore al giorno ) - DRIVER per programmare QUALSIASI tasto del mouse! si può impostare davvero di tutto! da macro programmate all'esecuzione di programmi, alla modifica del volume (!!!) l'unica pecca è la "difficoltà" di installare i driver. Consiglio: - NON collegate il mouse - inserite il cd ( che troverete nella confezione ) e, usando il vecchio mouse ( o la tastiera per i più pro ;) ) installate i driver del mouse - riavviate - ora attaccate il mouse con questa procedura il mouse rileva subito i driver corretti e non avrete problemi ;)

Compré este ratón para un portátil con el objetivo de tener algo que funcionase relativamente bien y no fuera un gasto elevado. Desde el punto de vista de hardware no es nada del otro mundo, tiene un cable bastante bueno, los botones son agradables de pulsar (ni fuertes ni flojos), la rueda no está mal y los botones extra sí que tienen algo menos de calidad. El sensor óptico es malo y hace que el puntero salte de lado a lado si la superficie refleja, como cualquier sensor barato, y no tiene partes intercambiables. Desde el punto de vista del software, se puede programar el ratón con luces y lo que hacen los botones, pero el programa es bastante malo y da varios problemas. La configuración está bastante restringida y a veces se desconfigura. A la hora de usarlo no está del todo mal, pero hay mejores opciones para un ratón como este, cuyo precio era ~40€ cuando lo compré. Además la forma que tiene y los materiales hacen que el ratón se resbale y que se note cuando va cogiendo suciedad de usarlo, por ejemplo ahora puedo ver las marcas de los dedos reflejados en los botones. Ahora está a 28€ y supongo que harán la rebaja "a la española" de decir que el ratón vale otra vez 40€ pero con un descuento de 12€ para que lo compre la gente, no os dejéis engañar y revisad el precio! Este ratón realmente no vale más de 20€ en otras marcas.

Mouse is great and works fine. However the software provided dose not work and the website dosnt load so can't get the software. This means you can't configure The buttons to have as you want. I've been on forums to find more information and people who have managed to get the software say even if you changed the confiq of buttons in the software it has no affect on the mouse.

Veramente un ottimo mouse come da descrizione. Il solo problema che ho avuto è stato con l'installazione dei driver ma è facile da risolvere. Essendo la cartella dei driver dentro il dischetto e un file dentro nominati con caratteri cinesi il computer aveva problemi a trovare la directory, basta quindi rinominare suddetti file sostituendo i caratteri cinesi :).
