Vera Bradley Womens Hipster

The buckle / strap is sewn on backwards. Basically, because the top of the purse is flat, the strap has to be sewn either onto the front or the back of the purse. It's sewn onto the back panel (so the zipper and front of the purse faces out). As a result, the strap twists. You can either wear it with the strap twisted or with the back of the purse facing out. When you lengthen the strap and wear it across your body, it's not so much an issue. It's just something to be aware of, depending upon how you wear it. There's also a very prominent area of stitching where the fabric comes together (also on the strap). I kept it because the design and color are just amazing.

Love the size. Love the pockets. Love the print. I originally bought the all in one cross body because I never carry a bag bigger than about 6 inches. But after trying the hipster I found it to be light to carry and hangs flat on my hip. No bulky bulging. I am a convert to a " real" purse with the hipster. Viva La Vera is a delightful print. Wish she was not retiring it since most the new prints are yucky.hmmm Now I want another hipster in a different print.
