Q: How come the part number for the same filer 11895 is preceeded by ca or fda in different stores?

This filter bis sold in many versions, Exclusive to Walmart they are sold as our Ultra Air version as 11895, anywhere except Walmart or Advance Auto they are sold as CA11895 and at Advance because they wanted their own exclusive line they have an FDA11895.

Q: Do I remove the fabric piece?

I'm not familiar with the specific filter (11895). However, generally speaking anything that is permeable (air can pass through it) and part of the filter should remain as is. From what I read about this part, it is designed to catch very fine particles - thus the fabric piece.

Q: Did fram stop putting on the extra fabric piece? mine has glue as if it were there and removed

This covers two Toyota OE numbers. One has foam and one does not. We were able to update the construction and remove the foam without changing the performance required. The glue is used to keep the pleats uniformed.
