Perfect for Drop B!
Bought the Ernie Ball Mammoth (12-62) set for Drop B tuning, and it plays like a dream! (Tuning is B, F#, B, E, G#, C#, which has the same intervals and feel of Drop D, but everything 3 steps lower). I'm using a 24.75" scale length guitar, so I was worried about tension and tone, but this is a great set for it. I do have some intonations issues at the bridge which was to be expected, but after trying many different gauges and combinations, I'm sticking with this now. Plays and feels amazing in Drop B!

Just brilliant
Excellent quality and sound, incredible for down tuning and keeping the tension while playing without the strings being to floppy! Made the metal look on my guitar go up another level

Djenting it up in Drop C# and Dadgad down to C#
Decent strings for anyone looking to tune lower then D. For me theses are great on a 25.5 scale in Drop C# or lower. I personally use them mostly with Drop C# and C# G# C# F# G# C# (Dadgad half a step down) I wouldn't go any lower then a B Tuning with these but that's just because I prefer a very high tension. I'd actually still prefer a heavier gauge just for my Low C#. Perhaps a 64 or 65. But I have to deal with the 62's that come in this pack which is Just a minor personal preference with Tension. I think most people don't like alot of tension on their strings so maybe you wouldn't have that issue. C# is my sweet spot tuning for these bad bois. I'm sure if you use these on a baritone scale you could tune alot lower. For a Les Paul these could be handy for tunings from D through to C.

Impressive!
The first strings I bought for my new guitar and I wouldn't choose anything else, I'm tuned to Drop A#, the strings sound gnarly when riffing and they also surprisingly have great tone for lead as well. I'm very impressed, versatile and long lasting strings, highly recommended if you're in a lower tuning.

Be prepared to drop to Bb! 😂
First time drop tuning my second guitar, and these are brilliant. Only thing is, i was planning on drop C or drop B at most, but I can’t tighten the floyd rose enough to balance it unless it’s at least drop Bb. My rookie mistake, but brilliant strings otherwise!

Excellent for down tuning
I use these (Mammoth slinky) on my Dean V, which has a 24.75" scale length. Easy maintains good tension all the way down to B standard, I've had it in drop A as well. Sounds chunky and makes the shorter scale length not even a problem. I play the most in C standard and that's probably a sweet spot for these. For death metal fans, these are the ones.

Excellent set of strings
Great strings, wanted to downtune my ibanez so thought I'd get some mammoth slinkys I'll tell you what drop a sounds awesome and still plenty of tension in the strings, would recommend

Make sure they fit through the tuning pegs
Happy with the sound on these strings bought them for hohner les Paul copy but the e string was too wide so put them on my fender stratocaster and it sounds and feels like a new guitar
