**Q: How do you attach the little pieces of leather around the chin strap?  In the picture it looks like the leather is doubled on the chin strap**
A: It all comes as one solid unit. Then it just slides on over their nose . All you’ll have to attach is reins.

**Q: Is this for a full sized 16 hand horse. Or a pony?**
A: It will fit a small horse

Really nice hackamore. I got this for my adopted grade Arabian gelding who always seemed anxious with the bit no matter how "kind" the bit or hands. The minute the bridle w/ bit would go on he would automatically get anxious. With this hackamore, he was immediately responsive, relaxed and more willing than ever. He seemed excited to so whatever was asked of him and not reactive. I am very pleased. Worth a try with horses that don't so well with bits.

My mare loves this hackamore. She's a sensitive Chestnut girl with a lot of power, she does not like a strong hackamore. This one is light in your hand but has brakes if you need them. I highly recommend!(On a side note my mare also doesn't like to have a flash, figure 8, drop noseband or anything that constricts her mouth, the design of this hackamore sits a little higher so it does not interfere with her mouth and she does not feel trapped by it)
