I love using Watkins Strawberry Extract when I make Strawberry Cake and Frosting, the Taste and Smell is Superior to any other, I also like to use it when I make Strawberry Jam, just a couple of drops makes a lot of Difference, it Enhances the Strawberry Taste. The Fresh Taste of Strawberry is Excellent, you don't have to over do it with these Extracts, only a drop or two does the Trick, anymore than that and you will get that Chemical under taste. Watkins has been making Extracts since 1868 and I think they know what they're doing. The flavor of this extract is very good. It adds a nice, buttery flavor to puddings, custards, cookies, frostings, etc., and the flavor scales well with the amount you use. The only downside is that the extract has a distinct, sweet undertone that makes it completely unsuited to adding a butter flavor to savory dishes like mashed potatoes, vegan cheeses (where the butter flavor enhances the dairy tones of the plant-based cheese), bechamel, hollandaise, etc. Stick to using it for sweets and baking and you'll find it very useful.

Makes delicious keto banana nut bread! Also great to add to Southern Style Banana Pudding to enhance the banana flavor.

I bake a lot for family and friends. There are several recipes that called for the butter flavor extract which I could not find in multiple local grocery stores. Hence Amazon to the rescue. Great flavor to the recipes. So much better when added and made a huge noticeable difference when I didn’t have the butter flavor extract available. I trust Watkins brand products and knew this extract would be the ticket for keeping my recipes at the top of “this recipe is SO good” compliments. A little bit is all you need and you won’t regret incorporating it in your baking.

The flavor is very good, i added one teaspoon to my banana bread recipe and i am very pleased. My bananas were very ripe but they were lacking flavor, so I decided to try this. I will be buying another bottle when this one is used up!

Watkins a brand I consider one of the top brands has a great banana extract. Made banana ice cream delicious!!!
