I have been using mineral sunscreens for nearly a year trying to make sure my sunscreen is reef safe, cruelty free and, if possible, plastic free. So ideally this would not be in a plastic bottle. I was trying to get away from the oil and white layer of mineral sunscreens, as these are less than ideal, but seemingly what you have to work with if going reef safe. I have definitely struck gold with this product. Initially feels thick and heavy, but once you spread it it becomes light and quickly absorbed, without leaving a sticky or greasy residue. Great on the face too, no stinging of normal suncreens. My wife needed convincing to try it, but instantly was converted when she did. So, of course, its expensive, but for the attributes it brings, being reef safe, cruelty free, vegan; totally worth every penny.Also, in terms of protection, have had it on in very strong sun and no burning. Furthermore, according to the makers, less application is required than the usual suncreens.i will get some of the SPF 30 to use as well.Top marks from me, with exception of plastic bottle. That said, it's fully recycled and fully recyclable, so i guess impact is minimal if bought by responsible people who will recycle. Maybe a bottle return service for clean and refill would further minimise impact? ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Did everything it said it would *by A***L on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 2 January 2023* Was dearer than other products but bought it because it was reef friendly . It went on well and did not budge even when snorkelling or swimming. Even tbough sun was strong all day with no respite. No sunburn at all. But nice tan . My husband used iit on his head because he is clean shaven and he had no burns. Great for face and neck . Will buy again . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars I didn't burn, and I swam guilt free! *by A***R on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 21 October 2020* I only had to reapply it after about five hours in direct sun, and swimming in the height of Greek summer. I didn't burn...which I normally do. I liked the smell, and the packaging. I really couldn't fault anything except the price! I do wish there would be a way to make a nice product which wasn't so expensive. However, it did last me a week in Greece, and I think there's still enough for another trip at a push! Best part...I had a clean conscience.
