The product makes no claims to help this condition, but it does give me hope to look more normal over time. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is a chemical peel - proceed with caution *by P***R on August 7, 2023* I read a lot of mixed reviews and I think some people missed that this is a chemical peel, meaning yes your skin will burn and peel. I have had melasma above my lip for two years. I have tried many different serums and creams to lighten it with no results. After using this product, the melasma is 90% gone. A couple of things to keep in mind if you decide to use this product: - it is very potent. Your skin will burn almost as soon as you put it on - be careful not to let excess product pool in one area. I do have a section of skin that peeled and left the skin underneath raw. I have been moisturizing that area more and using aloe to help heal the skin, and it is healing nicely now - you only need a small amount. After three applications, my skin started to peel. I stopped applying when I noticed the peel - keep your skin moisturized while it is peeling. Essentially, I treated it the same I would a bad sunburn - use sunscreen - my skin peeled for about a week. Keep that in mind when deciding when to use I am still nursing the area of skin that burned deeper than the rest. I do believe that part was user error and I know how to better apply next time.
