(Something Apple struggle to do themselves judging by my iPad Pro, MacBook Pro and Apple Watch fail to do.HDMI works so you can plug your iPad into an external display, the usb c port allows charging of the iPad at the same time. The usb 3 reaches 5 gbps and works with my external SSDThe only downside I have found is that with the hub plugged in the audio now automatically goes to the 3.5mm so the internal speakers don’t work with it plugged in. (Not a problem with the hyperdrive hub buts that’s over twice as expensive), I simply use a pair of Logitech speakers for sound when the hub is plugged in.Basically this device is a crucial element in making the iPad Pro a viable alternative to a laptop. ### ⭐⭐ Does What it says, but sound quality is substandard *by D***D on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 July 2019* The unit is well presented, seems of reasonable build quality. It fits well in the ipad, the usb C input works and charges as it should, the USB works as it should, as does the HDMI, however the minijack is terrible. Noisy when nothing is playing, and the sound quality is poor. Even after being EQ'd it is impossible to get any quality low end or balanced response, even from good quality headphones ie Bose QC35 & Shure SE425.
