Whey Protein Concentrate Unflavored - 1.5 lbs.

Great! Mixes well. No nasty flavors, artificial, chemical or gag worthy ingredients. Practically tasteless so I can have my clean, guilt free, nutritional high protein, mocha coffee shake daily. I just don't like to eat when I wake up. Coffee is medicinal to keep from yawning and getting a headache from the TMJ disfunction but I am not hungry for many hours so I make it into food. So, handmade coffee shake with lots of food ingredients. I use a stick blender and it comes out very smooth and thick. I add milk and take my vitamins and minerals with it. Breakfast of Champions!

I just discovered this product after having used NOW Whey Protein Isolate. It turns out, this product is denser than the isolate. 5 lbs of protein concentrate has 69 one-ounce servings whereas 5 lbs of the isolate has 82 one-ounce servings. so, pound for pound the less expensive concentrate is 72% the price of the protein isolate, but each serving is 84% the price of the isolate. Protein Concentrate is roughly 64 cents and the Isolate is roughly 75 cents. So, basically $3 difference each month between them, with one serving a day. The Isolate is a little easier going down. This lesser expensive form has more of a powdered milk taste, whereas the isolate form is less so. That being said, I've discovered adding a dropperful of almond extract masks that powdered milk taste (without needing to add sugar.) I actually had done that for a while with the isolate form, but got to where I was used to the taste and didn't bother. Maybe that will be the case with this lesser expensive form. If I don't get used to the taste, I'll probably switch back to the isolate (as long as the price difference between servings remains low.) EDIT: I originally gave this 4 stars, but realized afterwards that I base that on a simple comparison with a similar product by the same company. Compared to protein supplement products overall, either of the these NOW unsweetened and unflavored protein supplements are great. They don't have a bunch of extra empty calories, are relatively palatable. I'd rather save those empty calories found in other products and have a REAL milkshake!!!

This is the best tasting way protein I have purchased. I have purchased numerous other brands and you can't even swallow them.And they ruin whatever you put them in. This Product is worth buying.

Im only deducting one star because even though it says unflavored, it definitely has a strong protein powder flavor. That said I don't mind it. I have it in the morning with my morning chai, and the cinnamon flavor for the most part covers it up. I will definitely buy it again. It dissolves well in my almond milk. I don't see any clumps.

I can't stand artificial sweeteners and sometimes I want to be able to protein-ify ANYTHING. This really allows me to do that. It doesn't really taste and adds good protein so I'm happy!

It dissolves easily, mixes well blending with frozen Berry Mix, Banana, Apple, tastes great but too much sugar. I actually bought this to mix with NOW Foods Sports Nutrition, Unflavored Pea Protein which didn't like the taste. Prepared a mix of 50/50, 1 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder, 2 tsp allulose+ monk fruit sweetener, some ice. It tastes like frothy, malted, cocoa shake

I've used products from NOW Foods for years, with no objection. However, for the Unflavored Whey Protein Concentrate I had to ask Amazon for a refund (for which they obliged.) The first time I used this NOW Foods protein powder the flavor was so SOUR that it overwhelmed the chocolate flavoring I put in. Said chocolate flavoring already lots of sugar (and cocoa), and besides the sour taste when drinking the whey mix the terrible aftertaste lingered for hours. I've used many whey powder products over the years, and this NOW Foods product is the worst "unflavored" whey powder I've ever tried.

I love whey protein shakes but i hate that most protein powders come with artificial flavours, colors and sweeteners. Now Sports Whey Protein unflavoured is great because i can make it any flavour i want and its own taste is quite neutral. I have been using it for 3-4 years now and its very digestible and provides enough nutrition for my morning breakfast or after workout shake Delivery through Amazon was fast even with current Pandemic

I’ve used this protein before and had no reaction. I repurchased after I finished my first box and this batch gave me such a bad reaction as attached in my photos. It also had a different taste than my first box with a very bland and yucky taste. I feel something is wrong with the batch sent to me. Not satisfied with the product
