The one I have is very loud.** A: No volume control - but loved mine **Q: Can’t get back off to get batteries in** A: I just unzipped the bottom, undid the 1 screw on the bottom then just take the bottom panel off to display where the batteries go. I don’t bother zipping it back up since it’s not seen anyway. I never had to take anything off the back. **Q: Does it have an on off switch** A: You simply press the paw again to switch it off as well as on.
