No after taste ..
Tastes just like the regular chocolate syrup. No chemically or off after taste. My mom who is diabetic uses it in her coffee every day. Not too thick and stirs in easily.

No, it's not the real thing, but...
My palate is very used to artificial sweeteners, but you can always tell that weird, bitter aftertaste, and "straight up" this does taste strange. That being said, this is an excellent product when used in a certain way. When added to coffee it makes an iced mocha nearly indistinguishable from a 200+ calorie one. If you like mochas and frappaccinos and such, try this, it's a really great swap. The last time I went to a coffee shop and indulged in the real thing I thought, "this is really not worth the calories, it tastes like the ones I make at home with Hershey's zero sugar". Sugar free coffee syrups like DaVinci and Torani are not bad but this is much better because it has the texture of chocolate syrup.

I feel compelled to write a review.
At first I was surprised at all the negative reviews because I really like this product. But then I flashed back to my pre-keto days and I absolutely hated non-sugar sweeteners, like erthyritol and sucralose. I opted not to eat desserts because of how bad they all tasted. Bitter, not sweet enough, chemical aftertaste. Blech. So, I do get where everyone's coming from. If you eat sugar often or you bought this thinking it'd be a replacement for the regular Hershey's Chocolate Syrup you normally buy, I understand your disappointment. This isn't as good. Indisputably. That said, IF you've been on a low-carb diet for quite a while and your palate no longer remembers how delicious sugar is (or, hell, maybe you think sugar is too cloyingly sweet), then this will probably be all right. I can't tell that there's an aftertaste. I'm sure there is, but I'm so used to it now. It tastes like cheap chocolate - I mean, it's Hershey's syrup, so that's to be expected - but it's totally reminiscent of the full-sugar version I used to love as a kid. I wouldn't say "oh wow, this is so good!" but that's not because of the sweetener. It's because it's Hershey's syrup. It was never that good. It's not supposed to be. I review a lot of low-carb products because I'm always experimenting. It's very common for LC items to be harangued by people who don't eat low carb or haven't been eating low-carb foods for long. I was the same way back in the day. Everyone on the keto and LC message boards would talk up something and I'd spend all this money to try it only for it to be "meh." These days, though, I can't taste the difference between diet and regular soda or sugar-free whatever and sugar whatever. This tastes pretty close to the Hershey's syrup I grew up with, but I wouldn't expect most people buying it on a whim to like it. I can never fool my friends with sugar-free desserts even when it tastes awesome to me, so if that's where you're coming from, don't expect to be fooled, too. Highly recommended for any veteran low carber. Not recommended for anyone who thought it'd be a good alternative to the full-sugar one.

Not bad
Not bad tasting but you can definitely tell it's Zero Sugar, it's more runny than regular chocolate syrup. Not bad for the price though. I used it to make my healthy snicker bites still tasted good.

Weird Taste
I love regular Hershey syrup and perhaps that's the problem. This has that chocolate flavor but there's something else going on a sideways to that flavor and I find it weird and terrible. It's not the chocolate part of the flavor and it's bitter or perhaps sour tasting. I can't say I've tasted it before. At first I kinda thought citric acid but as I've tried more, it's not that. I've only recently started trying out sugar free products so I'm new to this, but I've found some sugar free chocolates candies that have a rich chocolaty taste. This is not that kind of rich and chocolaty. BTW, those other treats can put the "gas" into "gas"trointestinal if I have more than about 4-6 pieces. Which is fine and helpful in some ways towards reducing eating things that aren't actually healthy. I'm probably going to throw this out. It's that bad.

Sugar Free can taste good
This sugar free, low carb syrup tastes good. I am diabetic and my son is diabetic. Now, I don't care for sugar or sweetners in my coffee, but my son likes his chocolate milk. This helps and for the cost, it was a literal steal. Considering I buy these by the dual packs shows how good this is. Nice and thick, two table spoons is enough. One works for me.

Zero Sugar syrup
Best without Zero Sugar....now my store carries it. Before my grocery store did not carry it so I ordered here, but not anymore. Thank you though.

Just ok.
It’s ok on ice cream. Tastes chemical like in hot chocolate. I would not heat it up for any dish

It's a little sour on its own but when in milk it tastes great! If anyone's having issues with it mixing I use one of those electric milk frother things to stir it up and it works great :)

Great, the taste is delicious, my husband who does not like these sugar-free things, he loved it in flavor! I recommend it!
