Apollo 0.5mm Mechanical Pencil - Black

Great pen, cheaper than comparable mechanical pencils. I prefer it over the Rotring 600 as it is more comfortable to hold and it has a nice extendible rubber attached. However, it is not metal. The grip is very comfortable, and I've not had any issues with the mechanism.

I had been looking around for a pink propelling pencil for ages, to keep with my pink diary. This one fits the bill well. It’s a lovely shade of baby pink. It is sturdy but not too heavy. Feels and looks expensive. Writes nice and smooth and erases really well too. No issues with the leads breaking so far. I love using it. Hope I can get replacement leads… ?!?

I loveeeeeee this pencil. I don’t know why it has taken me this long to go for a mechanical pencil since school but it’s so much nicer than your average pencils. This pencil has the 0.5 lead and has an eraser in the end that can be twisted so you can keep using it even when it gets low. The pencil casing itself is super comfortable with the three sided design that is nice to hold when drawing or writing. The pink colour is really pretty when paired with the light grey too. Overall I love this pen a lot and would buy another if I could no longer use this one.

Wanted a smart-looking pencil for taking notes and using in front of clients (instead of a plastic pencil). First pencil didn’t work at all. Amazon replaced without quibble and had replacement in a couple of days. ( Great service Amazon!). Replacement works well and looks nice. Think I’ll probably replace lead with 2B to make it darker, but that’s personal choice. Eraser tip is also good quality and effective. Feels like a premium pencil in a world of cheap stuff. Recommended

Bought for precision marking in woodwork. Excellent marks timber clearly and precisely with no sharpening required.

I had one of these many years ago and had forgotten how good it was. The guide tube retracts as the lead wears down, protecting the lead from breakage. It feels solid and for me the triangular shape is comfortable to hold. I made the mistake of ordering two singles; by the time I noticed that you could get a cheaper two-pack it was too late to cancel the order. The two pencils came loose in an Amazon cardboard sleeve. One of them had a label stuck to it which left a sticky residue on the pencil; I removed it with rubbing alcohol.

If you're after quality propelling pencils, you're after only two I think; the Kurutoga Advance, or this one. For grip and price, you'll want this one. For balance and the particular tech of the Kurutoga, you'll want the Kurutoga. I have both. It's an unhealthy obsession. The propelling rubber on the end of this is a useful touch.

The best new addition to my pencil case. lovely soft grip but nicely weighted for a plastic mechanical pencil body. the twist up eraser is a great addition too. lovely to draw with, great value for money, highly recommend

Feels great, looks interesting, eraser works not fake. Writes smoothly, an enjoyable writing instrument, get it.
