It is about 16 yrs old. I needed to cut several dead limbs from a live oak tree. I thought a new one would help me get the work done. I read the info on this PockeTech 48 inch double sided Hight Limb Hand Chain Say and thought it would be just what I needed. Saw other reviews complaining about it jamming but thought it was just people that did not really know what they were doing. Since I had already had one and new how it would work, I ordered this one. I tried it on several tree limbs over the next two days. It would jam every time no matter what size or how high or low the limb I was trying to cut. I never got it to cut thru a single limb! My advice is read all the reviews that said it just kept jamming and was not very good, because they were right. Sling shot included was a joke also. Maybe I just got a bad one, but I Would not advise anyone to buy it. I am now back to using my one sided 16 yr old one, it works still. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Nice saw, junky slingshot. *by L***A on Reviewed in the United States on 19 November 2016* Great rope chain saw. Terrible sling shot.The saw was nice and sharp. It cut great. Yes, you can get the blade stuck easily, so you have to practice to get good. Don't practice on a high, thick limb. Practice on some low limbs that you can get to with a ladder when you get stuck. Only after you get proficcient shoudl you try higher limbs.The slingshot is terrible. After only a few uses, one of the bands on the left snapped off, causing the lead shot to slam into my thumb instead of fly through the center of the slingshot. I inspected it and found that the small bb had come out of the tubing.Fishing line? Nah. Get yourself a real throw weight (12 oz) and throw line (1/8" braided poly). In fact, I can do just as well with a real throw line setup without the risk of breaking my thumb. If you want to use a slingshot to throw line into a tree, get or make an arborists slingshot.
