(15mA is usually very bright). That figure is the resistor value. Lots of tolerance upwards from that value. (e.g if supply is 12 volts, to run an LED try 11/.015= 733 ohms or more (nearest available resistor value is 820 ohms) **Q: how many led are there?** A: 100 **Q: Can you provide 24vdc to these LED's?** A: Yes but you need the original voltage and current for the LED -OR- a resistor box to bring the voltage up from 0 vdc to the full bright voltage level that is safe for the LED. With that and using Ohm's Law or E=IR you can figure out the value of the Dropping Resistor you will need for a 24 vdc supply. **Q: I am using these to back light a clock. i hooked one of them up to a 9v battery. it fried it. will it stop the frying the bulb if i string 4 or 5?** A: Sounds like you want to string these in series.
