I wore my last pair u til they were completely destroyed. These seem less wayetrproof than my previous pair, but still do ok keeping my feet pretty dry and toasty. They are a breeze to put on, and comfortable to walk many hundred of kilometers in. They are not good at being slip proof in rainy weather though, so use caution. They are plenty grippy od dry concrete. They are ok on trails, but the soles are just too uniformly flat to really be useful. The tread quickly gets cakes.in dirt or mud and then you are just basically shuffling along hoping not to slip. But for mostly dry city walking and exploring, they are great. Especially in winter.
