Pro Stock Glove Conditioner

I've been playing baseball for over 30 years, and the attention and detail you out into taking care of your Baseball glove is the same as caring for a newborn. Ok, not at all, but you get my emphasis. I've used countless glove oils, conditioners, treatments, creams - everything! This is the most incredible product I've ever used on any mitt before. I used it to both break in my son's brand new mitt and bring back to life my 20 year old mitt, as well as my dad's 40+ year old mitt. It expedited the break in process and helped so much with forming the mitt and shaping it for infield positions. It brought back my mitt, both in color and hydrating the leather. It was like 15 of the 20 years of beating up my glove had been erased. Anti-aging glove serum! My dad's mitt has worn and cracking leather spots where he catches the ball in the pocket, along with dried out laces and wear and tear spots all over. After applying two heavy coats, the mitt looks like it's almost new. Truly an incredible product and the difference is noticable immediately. I'm buying two more containers. I was able to put two coats on four mitts and still have enough for another round on each. Overall, I'd estimate you'd be able to apply 12-15 applications in total. I tried a number of different applicators, strangely enough, those silk-like clothes used for removing finger prints from glasses worked the best. I didn't clean or wash it, just put it in a plastic bag and kept using it.

I’m coaching a youth little league team up here in the Pacific Northwest. The gear issued by the league had been sitting in a storage unit for about 8 months. I believe the gear wasn’t dried out before storage. The catchers mitt WAS a cement pancake that looked to be on the verge of just being thrown away. Using this Wilson’s Glove Conditioner has turned what was literally JUNK into a GREAT, USEABLE, SOFT Glove!! Reconditioning this old, dry rot looking glove has been EXTREMELY rewarding! Our two little catchers can’t believe the difference! They thought I bought a new glove!! LOL

This glove conditioner is excellent, if I had the choice I'd give this 4.5 out of 5 stars, but I don't so 4 stars it is. It's not going to break your glove in all on its own but the difference is noticeable if you have a catch before putting this on and then again after. It softens the leather up just enough to make a difference. One thing I would say and the only reason why I don't give this five stars is that it will definitely darken the leather of your glove. I knew that it'd probably darken my glove some but it darkened it considerably. Not a deal breaker but annoying enough to take off half a star.

I bought a Wilson A2000 1799 recently and they are stiff gloves from the factory (esp since I ordered a custom one in "Pro-Stiff"). Several applications of this really helped to loosen up the glove (along with a lot of catch and a good glove mallet). This stuff really works well, although any glove conditioner with lanolin will do the job just fine. I just figured since I spent nearly 2x on my glove what a normal A2000 would cost I would get what Wilson recommends. For people who are new to this, look up online how to apply this stuff to your glove, if you overdo it the glove will become too soft and like a waffle. There are tons of break-in videos on YouTube. As a side note: I bought a pair of Sperry Top Siders (boat shoes) a while back and they were uncomfortable when I first got them. So I put this stuff all over my feet and wore them around. Now they are softened up like my A2000 after just a couple times wearing them. Normally it takes a little while for them to break in and be this comfortable.

This stuff is truely amazing I recently bought a used Wilson A1680 Elite 8 Elite Series model Catchers mitt and it was in badd shape. It was all discolored and stiff and as soon as I use the product on my glove I saw instant results. Ofcourse I Cleaned the glove previously before applying the condtioner with dish washer liquid soap and warm water and let it sit to completly dry off for 48 hours (I recomend u do). When I applyed the Conditioner the glove got nice and soft for me to break it in usein a special glove mallet I have and the Conditioner brought back the color and the scent of the the leather of what I could've imagane what it would've looked and smelled like bein brand new. There was no residue of any kind and the glove did not become heavy when the condtioner was applyed and let to dry. I also have a Rawlings MMS35BF Model outfielders glove 13 1/2" and I cleaned and condtioned it the same way I did with the catchers mitt and I got the same results no residue of any kind the glove did not become heavy and the condtioner Cleaned, soften, conditioned and brought back the color of the Leather to make it look brand new again after I bought it brand spankng new at Modell's for like 65-75 bucks about 10 years ago. Overall im happy with the product and I would definally recomend this condtioner to anyone who wants to see instant results. If u truly love ur baseball glove(s) like I do and want to take good care of them so it lasts you a very long time use Wilson Stock Pro Glove Conditioner to soften, condition, and maintain your baseball glove.

I don't have any before and after photos though the leather restoration this product can do definitely works! Used this a few years ago and since to completely resaturate and restore my childhood Little League baseball glove and to make it much easier to break in my newer glove. Childhood glove a cheap Mizuno MFR-1309T, and a Wilson A950. Have used this to restore old dried and brittle leather from the 1970s-1980s that's after many applications is finally starting to be flexible again and less brittle, and to rehydrate a recently purchased new leather wallet that arrived slightly dried out from factory packaging and is looking great.

Very good product. I purchased a 1980's Rawlings glove that was hardly ysed and had become a bit hard and dry. A couple of light applications and it's like new.
