Replaced failed OEM part very well

Exact replacement for the originals (which eventually get plastic rot and break). Easy to install, perfect replacement, look fine, but note - you will need a drill to get the old ones off and a pop-rivet tool to install the new ones. You DO have a pop-rivet tool, right? I don't think this would be fun to do with a couple of vice-grips.

Rivets are steel which is good I think. Really need to squeeze them harder the get rivet to break but unlike Aluminum they won't break when under stress & stating so in directions would've been real helpful. Directions were clear but make sure you have a good rivet gun!

Exact replacement for my weathered but still working. I replaced both locks without a problem. I like things to look as new as possible and the old ones were working fine I chose to replace both. I did not realize that they came in a package of 1 and had to order a 2nd one. Quite happy with the transation

Original OEM part. Fast shipping. Easy replacement. Just drill out mounting rivets, remove original storage locks, and install new storage locks with new included rivets. Arizona sun had taken its toll on original parts, and now awning is back to like new condition.

It works at least. An "opinion" for all the open and mangled packages in the reviews. The package I received looks like it was cut open for the purpose of removing a second storage lock that was likely in the original package. After all the package itself says Storage "Locks", in the plural. Camper takes 2 locks?? Hmmmm. The package is large enough to easily hold 2 locks. Only one rivet was supplied. Takes two... Careless repacking.. Anyway, can sell one lock for 20 bucks easier than pawning off 2 for 40. Price would have been around 25-30 bucks retail originally for the pair I would guess. Still gouging... So splitting them up and adding 5 bucks or so each to an already excessive price would make selling these easier to those of us who want our stuff to look nice. Could have tied the awning up for travel but that is tacky. Just guessing on original pricing of course. But this is a common practice with parts suppliers. Maybe a little hot glue or tape to reclose the package might be an idea. My other rivet may not have been lost. For the price, this should come in decent packaging. After all this is a dollar piece of plastic we pay 20 bucks for. Would send back, but this is how business everywhere is done.. Disheartening...
