Although the quality is very nice and the picture looks exactly like the one I customized it too, (not pixly, grainy, etc.) but in order to see the picture so that the cup isn't just all black with a blue inside, the water needs to be boiling in order for the picture to appear. I even took boiling water and poured it directly over the picture and it took longer than I would assume it would for such hot water. Maybe it just needed to be as hot as your coffee regularly is, but it needs to sit in the mug for a while. I haven't tried it again since it was a gift, but I really wanted it to appear quickly and work because otherwise this was a great mug and I would have given it 5 stars. ### ⭐ TRASHED IT. *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States on December 22, 2018* Tracking number was crap. Once I finally got the product, you could see what was on it before you even got it hot, not very clearly, but you could still see it if you looked at it any closer or longer than a glance. But when you put it under the hot water the picture wouldn't show up any brighter or clearer than it did when the thing was ice cold. Would NOT buy again. It arrived on time but very disappointing and ruined the birthday surprise. The seller made a false advertisement about this mug's color changing. This mug is just a regular mug with NO COLOR CHANGING! According to the seller, different mugs are different (some glow in the dark, some reveal pictures with hot water), and the seller didn't distinguish them at all. We thought we ordered the one that reveals the picture with hot water, but the seller said it's the one that's supposed to glow in the dark. Again, there's no way to know this information when ordering it! It's not clear on the description at all! Also, this wrong item doesn't even glow in the dark (we tried both hot water and dark environment) but nothing's changed. Very disappointed.
