## Questions & Answers

**Q: How is the leg press on the Revolution?  Is it effective?  Is there enough resistance?**
A: I'm 6' 1" and of course I've done traditional leg press over the years. That being said it doesn't feel like an inclined leg press. Its more like one of those machines at the gym where people just do a leg press with legs together or use if for calf raises. I would say it gets the job done. Is there a huge amount of range of motion compared to a free weight leg press? No... instead you feel the pulley tension more so in the middle of the extension than through out the whole entire rep. But what is your goal? Save time, gas, membership? That was mine so I'll make it work. There are other ways such as DB squats if you need further do at home stuff. If that's holding you back realize this machine as expensive as it is will not produce that professional grade gym experience. You will have to take more time to get used to it and find the burn you need. I'm not going to the gym anymore with the addition of other things but that should tell you something. **Q: Is the resistance comparable to free weights?  Or is is progressive (more resistance as you pull) like the bows?**
A: It seems more progressive. The number of pounds is not the same. If I could bench 200 in free weights, I may only be able to do 140 on the bowflex as an example. Feels the same when you're done though.

**Q: Can someone tell me the exact length of the machine from end to end (without use of the preacher/leg curl attachment)?**
A: From the Back tip of the frame to the front tip 65 inches, from the right front tip of the frame to the left front tip of the frame 38 inches.hope these measurements help you out.

**Q: do you need free weights to do bench press**
A: No, you can bench press with the revolution.  Think you can go on to bowflex and see the manual which will show a bunch of examples of what can be done.
