I bought this as a PC speaker mainly for games, but it has really proven its worth. I am now finding that I am actually using the Nucbe Pro as my main go to speaker for music that’s how good this is. It has a modern design with soft illuminated blue LED lighting that plays off really well with the glossy piano black finish on the front. The base unit has separate control for volume, trebles, bass but I can assure you that the bass is loud enough even at half level. It’s quite a compact speaker so it was quite surprising how loud and deep the bass was. Of course, good music reproduction is not just about volume, it is the sheer details and textures that this little speaker is able to squeeze out that really impress. There is so much detail that you can clearly distinguish between each individual notes with no muddiness even at the highest volume. The pitch definition and articulation are just spot on. Mids are equally well textured with a very natural rise and fall throughout the range. The lower harmonics are particularly impressive with incredible details and a lovely liquidly smoothness. This smoothness continues to the high end with a very silky and crisp performance. Unfortunately, it was a little too syrupy and romantic for my taste out of the box. However, this was easily fixed with the on-board fine-tuning control. I find that slightly above the halfway mark gives the most perfect balance to the overall sonics. Although your preference may differ of course. But it is good to have this level of fine tuning at hand. All in all, this is simply an incredible speaker for the price. Try it with some high bitrate quality music and you will soon see the amount of underutilised talent this little speaker has. Since a lot of games nowadays have truly epic sound that rivals Hollywood blockbuster; this is the perfect speaker to show off. I can’t wait to use this on Cyberpunk 2077 with its diverse range of electronic dance techno mix. It is one of the few PC speakers I can think of that will do proper justice to the most anticipated game’s immersive interactive experience. April 2020 Bring it on!

This is actually my first ventures into buying a speaker! I didn't want to spend a lot but I knew I also wanted it to have BT functionality as I do like using my phone for my music. I usually use headphones so this was a massive change for me in comparison. FIrst of all these are really capable of reproducing sounds from a wide spectrum just like my headphones, its got small adjustment knobs on the side for you to tune the sound to your liking, quite nice change actually as i normally rely solely on equalisers. Just to let you know i use this for podcasts,commentaries/documentaries and gaming/films. When i play game with this it gives a really great sense of direction, with headphones you do get that surround sound which is nice but this really adds a great stereo experience which is a nice change i think. Also headphones can get sweaty and uncomfortable after a good number of hours. For aesethetics and build its quite good, they feel quite sturdy so i dont think they'll fall apart if the satellites or sub fell off a desk. The style is quite nice its got this piano black finish on the speakers and the sub has a black and white design, has a option to turn on blue LED lights which is pretty cool. Bluetooth function is quite standard, you can swap between the two with the press of a button, I normally do this when i want to get away from the tele and just leave music playing in the background. Saves me having to leave the TV on or have to physically disconnect it from my TV to my phone. I like life the easy way. For the price i paid and for what i got I think this is a pretty good package.

Excellent value for money, the sound is good for such a reasonable price. Individual bass and treble controls enables you to adjust to sound to your own preferences. I much prefer the sound of this three part system compared to that given by individual Bluetooth speakers. My only slight quibble is that though loud enough for most occasions it is not quite as loud as I would like it to be, don’t get me wrong it is louder and richer and more subtle than any of my Bluetooth speakers which cost twice the price and more - and of course this setup is not portable but it doesn’t have to be as I have it set up in my lounge to use with my iPad I use it mainly to listen to music and as I like to hear individual sounds and instruments it suits me very well, I am happy with it.
