## Description

The MRS-24 Magnetic retrieval system is the ideal tool to effortlessly fish wires through walls. The 10’ long Ball chain can navigate through the wall with ease. The eyelet on the ball chain connects to most wires and the 3/4" Stop ring prevents it from falling into the wall. The 24” flexible magnetic retriever has high strength neodymium magnets and can be bent into any shape to retrieve the ball chain. The expandable retriever hook can extend up to 18” to grab the ball chain with ease. This kit includes: 24" Flexible magnetic retriever, 10' Ball chain with 3/4” stop ring, mrs-rh20 expandable retriever hook, and storage pouch.

Review: Great alternative to usual fish tape - I purchased this last week and have used it twice since then for projects around the home — running an HDMI cable in the wall for a sound bar and installing a new AC outlet. This magnet and chain system made both job incredibly easy, but there was no insulation in walls in these two projects. I think had there been insulation it would have been difficulty for the chain to fall down the wall and therefore would have used my fish tape. How to use it to install an HDMI cable in the wall for a sound bar (for example): - Anchor the top end of the chain near the hole where the sound bar will be mounted - Drop the chain in the wall through the top hold near where the sound bar will be mounted - Through the lower hole where the DHMI cable will come out of the wall, use the magnetic wand to locate the chain and pull it towards you - Once you can see the chain, use the included hook to grab the chain and pull it though the hole in the wall - Tape your HDMI cable to the metal chain near the bottom hole in the wall and pull the metal chain back up through the top hole Pros: - Easy to use in walls without insulation - Magnets are powerful and make it easy to find the chain in the wall. - Comes with a small black carrying bag Cons: - None I’d recommend this product

I purchased this last week and have used it twice since then for projects around the home — running an HDMI cable in the wall for a sound bar and installing a new AC outlet. This magnet and chain system made both job incredibly easy, but there was no insulation in walls in these two projects. I think had there been insulation it would have been difficulty for the chain to fall down the wall and therefore would have used my fish tape.
