Does the ESP01 get really hot during programming with this?

it did until i replaced the module i was using with an actual ESP01. after that it was coolest could be comma and i was impressed it survived my noob mistake.

What is the fastest baud rate this will support? ftdi chips will do at least 3mbaud, was wondering if these can match that or at least get close.

I've been using 921600 without any noticeable errors.

In the arduion ide, what board do i choose to flash to?
