K&N Filters are the best, and worth the extra money. I have used in all my cars for the last 25+ years. 5* rating for the product. WARNING - DO NOT ORDER THIS FROM AMAZON! They have a problem in their fulfillment center and sent me the wrong part number (for a Toyota). I returned and ordered again. Amazon delivered the EXACT SAME WRONG PART NUMBER again today. I am paying $21 more to buy locally so I can get a part that fits my Bimmer. Toyota parts do not fit BMWs. The listed part number is wrong, but lots of luck getting that actual part number to your door.

This filter is very well built, and depending on which model vehicle you have, will easily pay for itself after two regular air intake filter changes. This was recommended to me by a mechanic who works on jet engines and can fix just about anything. It does was it claims to do. Whilst I don't notice any particular level of performance improvement, I am happy knowing that my engine intake is protected and also that I won't have to spend half the price of this every year for a throw away piece of cardboard filter. NOTE: I've read other reviews complaining that the filter was "wet". This is by design, it is an oiled filter and that enhances the particle collection whilst protecting the filter. There are cleaning kits available that include oil that should be reapplied after cleaning at the 50,000 mile interval. I wish people would actually read the instructions and understand what they are buying before posting a review. Especially with a filter with a higher entry price.

I have installed K&N filters in all are vehicles and not sure if they is big change over a new oem filter in a stock box, but there longer lasting and easy to clean. I believe it filters air better and intake path stays clean, even in extreme conditions and cost savings over time make it a good value.

Just got this for my 2016 BMW 228i, perfect fit, of course easy to install, and immediately notice touchier response on the throttle. Not my first run with K&N and always happy with the quality of the product.

wrong fit for bmw 428ix 2016 gran coupe, clearly states a fit but it is the wrong size.

Nice filter. Slight increase in performance but its nice to not have to throw out the old filter every 500 miles.

Been using this since my first car, almost 30 years ago. Never failed me. You can feel the lighter acceleration once you drop this in the filter box. Then you can forget it like you ever need air filter again.

Power is more linear now in my manual. Engine would bog down pass 4k rpm at 1st gear. Now I can shift closer to 6k with minimal drop in power. Installed afe air scoop also and ride is much much better.
