Weighed 12 pounds so it was on the high side of what they promised. Not all of that 12 pounds is meat, however. Now that I've cut into it, my guess is that only 40% of it will be the thin jamon meat we all probably imagine. Quite a bit of it is skin, fat, bone, and hard, dry meat that is difficult to enjoy -- although it can probably be used in a soup. So be prepared for that.Also, slicing it paper-thin is probably not something you will be able to do on your first try.All that being said, I did my best and that was good enough for my appreciative family. We had a delightful meal together at the dinner table. Bagel crisps, olives, ice cold Coors Light, and jamon. With Spanish guitar from Pandora and the beach of Hilton Head Island across the street.
