**Q: Does this work as well as the original?**
A: I'm not sure if I ever used the original, but this product works excellently.  It holds hair very well with no odor.

**Q: Why is final net hairspray so ridiculously expensive now if you can even find it?  that makes me think they are discountinuing it?**
A: I phoned the company.  The Final Net brand, along with others has been purchased and will be back in production sometime in the new year.  The price reflects the low stock available.  It will eventually be back in usual retail stores when it returns.
