Loctite EA 3430 Epoxy adhesive metal/rubber/plastic 24ml

I've got a big fan 'but it's not got the cage on it and 'one of the fins broke off and I tried a couple of glue but, they didn't hold very well, and it came off a couple of times, someone recommended this one 'so I bought it 'and it glued the fin back and it's held it brilliantly 👏 I've tested it by pulling on it 'but it never came apart, and I've used it on my trainer heel and it's held that together, and that was weeks ago, and I still wear them every other day.

It is one of the strongest epoxy glue products, fast setting, although for cold temperatures only: its glass transition point is 58C, and it loses half of its strength at 40C, which is just above the temperature of the human body. J-B Weld ClearWeld is probably better as its glass transition point is 121C, but at the expense of slight tensile strength reduction at cold temperatures. For demanding applications it is hard to beat J-B Weld ColdWeld steel reinforced product melting at 280C, but it is grey in colour and takes 4-6h to set. There are also specific compounds for marine, plastic, wood, car bumper, and high temperature applications. "Reinforced" means there is a filler mixed it, which reduces deformation due to curing and cracking in service. The product was delivered without packaging, the syringe looked flimsy and smelled, but the expire date was OK, a year in future. I returned it after reading the data sheet at Loctite website.

I bought this for joining two pieces of metal together as it says it is epoxy from metal but it was not strong enough but could be useful for minor repairs

Don’t waste your money. Followed instructions to the letter (after translating them from the French/Dutch on the packaging) and the bond simply did not work. Very frustrating. Useless product.
