Works well if you have the space to use them. I like them because they help seal the attic. Can’t use them around beams unless you modify them but if you plan a little they work well.

I wish I had these before I installed my ceiling lights. Since they were already installed, I didn't want to disconnect the wiring and run them through the top. I just made a slice and used expanding foam to seal the bottom and the slice. Good product although I do wish it were slightly larger--I have 6" LED lights and the tabs on it barely are covered by this.

They are easy to install and with a little foam they seal perfectly. Using normal scissors to snip holes for running the wires is easy. Sealing the lights to save energy is a good thing but in our case sealing out a constant flow of attic dust was just as important.

I was concerned that even the led light may be too warm to contact insulation and this cover was a good heat resistant material as a solution

Easy to install. Kept blown in insulation from falling from the ceiling and made LED can lights easy to locate from the attic. Great product.

They aren’t quite big enough to cover my LED lights and separate drivers. I did like the collapsible feature for inserting from below ceiling. They are just too expensive for what they are, I found my lights on sale for $7 each. I was going to return but they charge for delivery. Oh well.

Instead of putting it above the can light hole, I cut it into an 8” circle and covered the hole onto the ceiling. My light fixture covered it and Now I’m not loosing so much heat through that can light

Added these covers over new puck led lights after installers left a mess and huge seams with the sheetrock overhead. We used some expanding foam to cement them down in the attic. The foam seemed to glue them down well enough (30 days after install we checked their seal). We had to modify some next to joists but they were easy enough to cut to modify. I definitely get less dust coming in from the attic.
