Perfect fit for Polaris Sportsman HO 2005 model. Fixed all electrical gremlins in my machine. Wish I had purchased sooner.

Stator
Even tho i had to fight tooth and nail for the part to show up , giving the fact that was purely amazons fault, the stator fit on my 05.sportsman 500ho perfectly, however the female spade clips i had to cut off and saudor on my old plug to make perfect install, other than that so far its a good unit.

Fit perfect. No issues.
My 2008 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO was having issues turning on and staying on once I would jump it. Hooked my volt meter to the battery while on, it wasn't charging my battery. It was just draining it to about 8vlts. So after some research and replacing the battery, selonoid, and starter, I decided to replace the stator. Problem fixed. ATV is now charging up to 13vlts and I can finally crank the ignition key to start it up every time.

Works great with minor mod
Corrected the overcharging issue with my 2008 sportsman 500. Required a change over of the factory charging electrical connector. Only took a few minutes but was worth the savings.

DOES NOT FIT
REPLACING POLARIS STATOR 3089249 ON A 2004 POLARIS SPORTSMAN 500 - THIS DOES NOT FIT. THE SHAFT DIAMETER IS COMPLETELY THE WRONG SIZE. WILL NOT REPLACE 3089249

Fixed my problem. Didn’t have the same harness but it easy to adjust. I used it for a 2008 Polaris
