Works perfect. Comes with aaa batteries. It doesn’t feel too cheap and light but it’s not heavy either. My favorite part is that I can hold the trigger down to get live updating readings instead of just one shot. It is 4 degrees higher than what my water testing thing says. But I don’t know which one to trust 🤷‍♂️ close enough. Just don’t shine the laser in people’s eyes (or fish)

This is great to use when baking reading the temperature of melting chocolate and getting an accurate reading. It’s light weight and readability is great!! Highly recommend also if you’re a candle maker or soap maker etc the functionality & durability is fantastic for those things!! Also, great to check for temp if you’re sick too!

This infrared thermometer is very easy to use and I found it to be very accurate. I compared it with other thermometers that I have around my home and I found the temp, measured in F, to be within one degree difference. It was often spot on. I am also pleased that when I point it at something to get a temperature, it makes a couple of clear beep noises when it has the temperature. It locks in the temperature reading on it's easy to read screen, and then it shuts itself off about 20 seconds later. I like that I can also shut off the laser. I do this when I am taking the temperature of something big, like a wall, where I don't need to verify that I'm on target. I do this to protect my eyes from reflected laser beam and to conserve battery power. It's important to note that its easy to load the batteries and then, its ready to go, right out of the box. I am very pleased with it's accuracy, ease of use, and low cost.

I use this as part of my motorhome repair activities. And this thermometer gun is easy to use and works well to measure the temperature on different devices and areas.

Bought this to use with our new Blackstone griddle. It works great and takes the guess work out of the equation for beginners like me. I keep it in the basket with my oils so it's always handy.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Works very well easy to manage/hold/use… Excellently doubles, for a cat chasing toy too. Seemingly provides accurate temperature readings close-up and at a distance. Don’t use it too often, but the battery has not needed to be replaced now in two years. Durable and does what it’s supposed to.

Funciona pero las mediciones son tan variables enfocándose al mismo punto o puntos cercanos que es difícil saber cuál es la temperatura real. Francamente en la cocina no ayuda mucho.
