I will never buy this product again. This was our third year of use and the winter cover did not hold up it disintegrated allowing light to come through unbeknownst to us. Upon opening the pool it was filled with black algae. Therefore I will never purchase this item again.

After several years of buying Leslie's Pools winter cover that barely lasted one winter, I decided to give the Blue Wave a try based on Amazon reviews. This cover is a return to the quality products that I was able to purchase from Leslie's 20years ago. The cable grommets are spaced every 22" compared with 37" on the lesser quality Leslie product and the seams are double stitched and reinforced. The Artic Armor cover is also warranted at 100% replacement value for 2 years. The replacement credit at 4 years is prorated at 50%. The 12 year warranty is just silly as, at a 5% credit, it wouldn't pay enough to cover the return freight. Properly installed, as mine is, I expect the cover to last at least five years. Thanks Blue Wave for a quality product. Follow up spring 2017. As I suspected. This is a terrific cover. It looks brand new. Great job Blue Wave! As a hint for anyone reading this review, for the first time in 30 years, I didn't use the cable they provided but instead used cover clips. What a difference they made in ease of installation as well as easeing the opening process. If you have an above ground pool, use the cover clips. You won't be sorry. They work great and save wear and tear on the cover. I reminded of the saying "To soon old, too late smart." Learn from my experience.

I purchased multiple covers for our pool and for my daughter's pool because they claim "Crafted from high-quality polyethylene, the Blue Wave 12-year Solid Winter Cover is built to last. ..offers reliable, long-term protection for your pool." My experience with these covers is they only last less than one season. Our last cover started to fail within 3 months, from Sep to Dec. Come spring, there were gaping holes which needed to be taped over. See photos. After several emails with photo evidence and proof of purchase evidence, Bluewave Products offers to send a replacement cover after I pay The shipping cost is $29.19. So after all the time I wasted pleading my case to them, if I send them $29.19, I will get the same poor quality cover which may last for a few months. Garbage, waste of time. My daughter's cover did not make to a second season, either. Customer service team is also a waste of time. No consideration.
