A good book to start learning Ruby
The book is really interesting and not like a dull coding manual. I really like this introductory book on ruby.

It's good if you are total novices
I would not recommend this to anyone. Because the main part that is object-oriented concept is missing in this book.

Fabulous Fun
Ruby is a blast- simple fun way to poke around logic and tech - I suppose there are practical applications as well - but so what. John knocks it out of the park- cover to cover with the computer in front of me took a bit over an hour. If you lie, a book- review it- keep these authors working!
