Review: Good food to supplement greens and hay - A Sulcata Tortoise wandered into my yard, it was 110 degrees outside. At the time, I didn't even know how to spell tortoise, but brought him inside the gate as I started the search for the owners. I bought Mazuri LS to supplement the greens, hay, and bermuda grass I gave him; he really liked it and it gave me, a total tortoise dummy, the peace of mind that he was getting proper nutrition until his owners were found.
Review: Tortoise loves it!! - Our juvenile red-foot tortoise absolutely loves these pellets. We have not seen it consume anything else as readily. We very lightly wet it to make it easier to consume. We are so happy to have this food for it.

**Q: Can this be used for the small Russian tortoise ?**
A: I have 3 leopard tortoises and one male Russian tortoise. The Russian tortoise will not eat the Mazuri LS pellets.

**Q: Is this the sulcata diet food?**
A: I feed it to my sulcata. It’s the low-starch diet that’s best for sulcatas. I mix it in with Timothy hay pellets for a better balance when my tortoise is stuck inside for the winter.

**Q: Can you buy a bigger size bag?**
A: yes, you can buy a larger size I used to buy a 1 Lb small bucket and that worked well for my Tortoise you just have to shop around since the small bucket is no longer available I get the small bag. Hope this helps answer your question.

**Q: Does the bag have an expiration date?**
A: Yes, current batch 7/24/2017
