Dragonfly Tamarind Concentrate, 16-ounce

This is my go-to tamarind concentrate. The flavor is deep, tangy, and well balanced—just like fresh tamarind without the hassle of soaking and straining. Just what I needed. The flavor is authentic and quality is good. I purchase this product regularly in order to make pad thai.

Not quite as sour/sweet as i like so it took a little more to achieve the desired results flavor wise, so i had to use more than normal. It’s good though. 2 batches of pad, everyone liked it, makes good candy also. When received i expected a light mess, found no leaks, wider lip on the tub makes a difference with the seal. Will buy again when i need more. Just one thing, i noticed some light crunch in the concentrate, possibly seed or shell fragments. Pour it through a strainer.

We bought this to compliment some curry paste that we purchased. It does a great job at bringing in that unique sweet and sour flavor profile. We had tried just using sugar and lime, but this just adds the right amount of tartness right away with just a tablespoon or so. We are satisfied with it!

Good quality and easy to make food

Was leaking a little from the tin foil seal on top of container but not past the plastic cover, taste was probably around average.
